I recently completed a mural at the Eagle Portland. In a collaboration with artist Daniel Quasar, I wanted to do something that represented the marginalized and queer communities in town the way I know best, with art. I think everyone should feel like they’re represented, welcome, and safe... and know that there are others here to help and support them.
Actions however speak louder than words, and I really want to support the community locally as best I can. To celebrate the completion of the mural, we've made a limited run of 100 printed posters. All proceeds from these posters are currently going to support Team Portland for AIDS/Lifecycle.
AIDS/Lifecycle is a life-changing ride—not a race—through some of California’s most beautiful countryside. Co-produced by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center, AIDS/LifeCycle advances these agencies’ shared interest in reducing new HIV infections and improving the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Thank you all for the love and support, not only that you’ve given me, but to each other and for donating to this cause!
